Make your Online Payments with ComBank Credit Cards

Terms and conditions 

  1. This promotional offer is applicable for below mentioned online payments categories only. 
    -Online transactions performed through / at groceries, pharmacies, supermarkets, apparel, sports equipments, utilities, service centers, hospitals, travel and education.
    -All luxury item purchases can be permitted (clocks, watches, jewelries etc.)
  2. On-line transactions performed at below locations, will not be considered under this scheme
    -Transactions for gambling, betting and gaming centers
    -Transactions made to financial institutions/services
  3. Only approved and allowed Foreign Currency Transactions (FCY) are eligible for consideration*
    * Approved (FCY) transaction categories;
    -Transactions for air ticket purchases, hospital payments/insurance payments (on case-by-case basis)
    -Transactions for education can be permitted (colleges, universities only). Not applicable for educational content purchases
  4. The promotion is open for all Credit Cards issued by Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC 
  5. Only approved and billed online transactions performed with ComBank Credit Cards can be considered under this promotion
  6. Commission will be charged for the transaction value as follow
    -12 Months – 3%
    -18 Months – 5%
    -24 Months – 7% 
  7. Offer valid only during the promotion period mentioned as per the artwork
  8. Credit Cardholders must request for Call & Convert Payment Plan of 12 months, 18 months & 24 months by calling the ComBank Contact Centre on 1316
  9. Online transaction approved above Rs.25,000/ can be eligible for the Payment Plan Scheme
  10. In order to establish under the ‘Call & Convert’ scheme, Cardholder should inform the Contact Centre within 7 days from the original transaction performing date
  11. Card Centre has the sole authority to accept or reject Call & Convert requests that are being received under this special promotion
  12. Transaction value should be within the available balance and authorized Credit limit of the Card at the time of performing the transaction
  13. Once requested for Call & Convert Payment Plans, the details cannot be changed and is not allowed
  14. Cardholder may request to provide the details of the Merchant establishment, date of the transaction, transaction value or any other document Bank may request to submit only the full transaction value can be converted to Call & Convert Payment Plan under the promotion, no partial payments are possible
  15. Once requested for converting to a Call & Convert Payment Plan, the scheme cannot be changed, and instalments settled under the scheme are non-refundable
  16. Credit Cardholder can make an early settlement of the Call & Convert Payment Plan obtained under this scheme. Early settlement fee of 3% will be charged on the remaining balance as of the settlement date
  17. This offer cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with other promotional programs or offers conducted by the Bank or the offer partner
  18. The General Credit Card terms and conditions will continue to apply 
  19. This offer is bound by the terms and conditions of the partnering merchant and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC
  20. Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC reserve the right to change and/or modify all or any of the rules, terms and conditions applicable to this promotion at any given time with or without prior notice to the Cardholders
  21. Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC - Card Centre accepts no liability for the quality of the services provided by the offer partners under this promotion category 
  22. If any dispute arises regarding the payment with any online merchant or any of the terms & conditions, Cardholder should settle same directly with the online merchant
