Mobile Re-load is a mobile re-charge and bill payment facility offered through your bank account. You can recharge and pay your bills through a SMS when you have registered for this service.
Simply send an SMS to Commercial Bank and your phone will be topped up instantly.
If you are a resident of Sri Lanka over 18 years of age, you are eligible to and have a Commercial Bank Account, you can enroll for this service.
You will receive a confirmation via SMS on all successful transactions.
This facility would not be available for roaming clients.
Your prepaid phone will be topped up with the re loaded amount instantly.
This facility is available around the clock, 365 days of the year
Just fill in a mobile Re-load application available at our branches and hand it over to your branch. Please submit your national identification card or passport/driving license and proof of your mobile connection with the application.
Once you get registered you will receive a four (4) digit (PIN) within a hour via a text message to your phone.
Relevant menu for Top-up would be downloaded by Mobitel for Mobitel subscribers. This is applicable only for Mobitel customers.
To Re-load :
Dialog,Airtel, Hutch subscribers can send a SMS to 8823 as follows: (PIN) number followed by a space 'Rs' and the amount - Ex: 1234 Rs453
Mobitel subscribers – You can use Commercial Bank Mobile Re-load - for prepaid or Commercial Bank Mobile Bill Payment for postpaid This facility comes in the financial menu in My Mobitel option.
Requesting for a new PIN
If you have forgotten your PIN please send us a signed request in order to re set your PIN.
Please inform us to deactivate the facility immediately if you lose your phone or the SIM. If your phone number is not changed, you could use the same PIN. If you are a Mobitel user your might have to get the financial menu downloaded again.
If you wish to change your phone number please inform your branch your new number and make a request through the branch to delete the old records.
