This unique 'Hospitalization Support Insurance Plan' is offered by the Fairfirst Insurance exclusively for "Flash" customers. Registration possible through the "Flash" app 24/7. 
• Self-registration and opening account Online : You can open your Flash Digital Bank Account by downloading the app and by providing account opening and KYC information through the app. KYC information verification will happen via digital channels centrally with a one-time visit to a service point of the bank to meet regulatory requirements and for the collection of the “Flash” Debit Card.
• Mobile number based payments : You can transfer funds to friends or family members in your phone book who is already registered for “Flash’’.
• Request for funds : ‘You can also request for funds from another “Flash” user simply by initiating an in-app message. The fund transfer will be implemented on acceptance of the request by the receiver.
• Receive actionable alerts/Notifications : "Flash’’ Digital Bank Account app provides actionable alerts and notifications through which you can complete transactions.

• PickMe QR based payments : "Flash" accepts PickMe dynamic QR code to settle payments after your PickMe ride. You can click on QR-Pay option of "Flash" home screen and scan and settle the fee real-time without any physical contact.
• Street parking payments : "Flash" account holders can pay parking fees via the "Flash" app for on-street and off-street parking spaces in Colombo, which are managed by Tenaga Car Parks (Pvt) Ltd. You don't have to drive around looking for a parking meter, just pay it through "Flash" app. 
• Track your expenses : "Flash" advanced BI tool introduced is capable of identifying every transaction and segregate them into categories (Food & Beverages, Health Care, Transportation, Entertainment, Store, Other). Each sub expense category will show a list of individual payments made during the period with the option to check individual transactions in detail, enabling the customer to know on which categories he/she has spent during a period for the better management of finances.
• Save the environment feature : As an environmentally friendly citizen, you can now analyze your transaction data and estimate environment impact (Emission of CO2) of your every single transaction made through the "Flash" Debit Card, QR, app payments or any other payment. After identifying the CO2 you add to the environment, you can understand how much you must invest for the environment to offset. "Flash" tells you what is your monthly carbon footprint (CO2) in Kilograms. It also tells you how much you should invest in an environment benefiting​ good course to off-set your environmental impact.
  E.g. Plant trees, invest in solar energy, forest conservation, reduce the consumption of fuel, recycling plastic and living a simple life etc.
• Security Features : You will receive utmost security for all your transactions as all your transactions are secured with a 128 bit digital certificate and a firewall.
• “Flash” Debit Card : As a “Flash” Digital Bank Account holder you will be issued a specially designed Instant Visa Debit Card. Card features are similar to all Debit Cards of the Bank. Procedures to apply and to use

Download “Flash” Digital Bank Account app only from "App Store" , "Google Play" or "Huawei AppGallery" and open new Digital Bank Account using your smart phone.

You are required to submit your personal information as below. The App would guide you how to provide them.

1. Submission of Personal Information for Digital Bank Account Setting-up
2. Uploading Documents required to Establish KYC
3. Submission of Information to Establish KYC

Once above information is provided, your mobile device, mobile SIM number and the e-mail address verification would take place through the app. You will receive a confirmation via SMS once the submission is completed.

Bank will contact you and activate your account after a simple verification process.
