'SplendorPlus' Program

This 'SplendorPlus' program is a benefit package applicable to new and existing Union Pay AP Platinum Credit Cards. This makes UnionPay Platinum credit card the best choice for customers traveling to China for business or leisure.

To better serve UnionPay SplendorPlus customers visiting the Chinese Mainland and further elevate the value of UnionPay SplendorPlus Card program, the UnionPay International upgraded its five core benefit categories—Airport lounge, Transportation, Hotel, Lifestyle and Chinese cuisine.

The 'SplendorPlus' benefits will be available for Sri Lankan UnionPay AP Platinum Cardholders until December 31, 2026.

• 'SplendorPlus' benefits are eligible for all physical, card present transactions performed in Mainland China.
• Guaranteed 1% cash rebate on eligible purchases (POS transactions) made in mainland China.
• The maximum cashback will be CNY 600 per card / per month
• Cashback is added to the monthly statements.

Eligible transactions: POS and Consumer-Presented-Mode UnionPay QR Code purchase transactions generated by UnionPay SplendorPlus Cards within Chinese Mainland and going through UnionPay Network, which is calculated in a specified period.

Excluded Transactions :

1. Refunded transactions;
2. Cancelled transactions;
3. Risky and/or non-compliance transactions pursuant to UPI Regulations; or 
4. Transaction generated at designated MCC pursuant to UPI Regulations; 
5. Suspicious transactions;
6. Transactions of click farming behaviour; or 
7. Transactions conducted through UnionPay SplendorPlus Card provisioned to third-party wallets such as Alipay and Weixin Pay
