Arunalu Siththam Children's Art Competition is ready to award prizes to the most beautiful drawings that are created by you, the talented little ones of Sri Lanka. Once again, the competition gives the opportunity for children living overseas to participate.

Conditions of the competition (Local/Overseas)
- One participant can submit only one drawing;
-Local Category
-Sri Lankan nationals only. - Provincial and National winners will be selected. Selection of national winners will be from the provincial winners.
- Foreign Category;
-Must be Sri Lankan nationals residing overseas
-One winner under each age category - Any preferred medium can be used except for sticky, non-drying types of paints.
- If the submitted drawing is selected for the final round, upon notification, the original drawing should be submitted, after certification from the Principal, Vice Principal, Grama Niladari or a lawyer.
- Participants residing overseas- certification should be from the school's Principal or Vice Principal.
- The drawing should be an original creation of the participant. It should have not been submitted to any other competition and should not be recreated.
- The copyright of all drawings submitted to the competition will rest with Commercial Bank and will not be returned.
- Winners will be decided by a veteran board of judges and the decision of the judges will be final.
- Children of the employees of Commercial Bank cannot participate in this competition.
How to send in your drawings
Upload a scanned drawing of the artwork (in JPEG format, not more than 5MB) on to the website, www.arunalusiththam.lk, along with the relevant details,
-On or before 30th of September 2026.
Local Category
- National Level Competition
-Pre-school Category
Top 03 winners at Rs.75,000/- each.
-Other Categories
Rs.100,000 I Rs.75,000 I Rs.50,000 respectively
- Provincial Level Competition
-Pre-school Category
Top 03 winners at Rs.15,000/- each.
-Other Categories
Rs.25,000 I Rs.15,000 I Rs.10,000 respectively
(In addition to the above cash prizes, a plaque and a certificate will also be awarded.)
Merit awards - will be awarded with a certificate
Foreign Category
- One winner under each category
-Will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
-To be qualified, standard of the drawing should be equivalent or higher than the 3rd place of the national winner in local category.
-If otherwise the prize will not be awarded.
Special gifts will be awarded to those who have Isuru and Arunalu account
School sending highest number of drawings in a district;
-Schools submitting the highest drawings in each district will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-
-Eligibility - Minimum 200 drawings to be submitted
