Who can apply:

Sri Lankan Holding Valid NIC (including teens aged 16+ with NIC)
Kids/Teens below 16 year old - Can open an account with a parent or guardian
Sri Lankans residing overseas (Work/student) can open an account

Account type:

Individual accounts only Sri Lankan Rupee accounts (LKR)
New to commercial bank only customers in the initial phase

What you'll need:

Original, valid National Identity Card (NIC) - Must be physically present during the video call (Copies, screenshots, or digital photos of your NIC will not be accepted)
Valid mobile number and email address

Step 4: Video Verification
Join the call. Have your original NIC ready. The agent will verify your identity, capture your live signature, and guide you through product and VAS selection.

Step 5: Account Activation
Once approved, your account is activated. Your debit card will be dispatched, and ComBank Digital registration instructions will be sent to your email
