The Commercial Bank of Ceylon received a large number of enquiries and applications for student loans when the Bank participated at the ‘Open Day’ of the Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College (CINEC), one of Sri Lanka’s largest non-state sector higher education institutions. More than 1,500 students and parents attended, and the Bank’s stall at the event was one of the most visited.Under Education Loans, the Bank finances registration fees, tuition fees,examination fees and hostel expenses pertaining to local or overseas education. The option of repaying the capital after completion of the course is an additional benefit in the Bank’s Educational Loans.
